Apparently an armed intruder broke into the wrong house and was shot by an 80 year old man. The old man had a gun and confronted the burglar. Police say the intruder also fired his gun during the struggle, but was killed by the homeowner.
And straight from the article: "No charges have been filed against the homeowner, but Chicago currently has a statute outlawing the possession of handguns. Its legality is currently being decided by the U.S. Supreme Court."
WTF!!??
Hasn't anyone heard of the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution?
Let me quote straight from the amendment: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed".
